The fourth Sweetwater Camera Club shootout contest held on Sunday, September 18th resulted in the following awards:

SCC November 13th Meeting: Election of Officers and Discussion of SCC Monthly Meeting Format

The November meeting of the Sweetwater Camera Club will focus on the Election of Officers for 2009 and a general discussion of the format for our future monthly meetings.
  
There will be no speaker scheduled for the month of November. A general discussion will be held during the November meeting concerning limiting the format and duration of our monthly meetings. The on-line version of this discussion is listed under the Hot Topics section on the front page of this website. A special exploratory committee appointed by SCC President Robbie Bible will present its findings and a vote will be taken to determine the future meeting format.
 
During the October 9th meeting of the SCC, President Robbie Bible announced that the nominating committee consisting of SCC members Jim Enterkin, Jim Gardner and Linda Britt had placed the following people in nomination for officers for the year 2009: Steve Pritchard for President, Greg Knobloch for Vice President, Frank Karycinski for Secretary and Jim Gardner for Treasurer. The president then asked for nominations from the floor. Jim Gardner nominated Gene Spicer to be Vice President from the floor. Gene Spicer accepted the nomination. Gene then nominated Richard Nichols for President from the floor. The nomination was seconded by Tawanna Wilson and Richard accepted the nomination. From the floor, Richard Nichols nominated Steve Pritchard for Vice President and he accepted the nomination pending the outcome of the presidential election. No further nominations were made from the floor.
