Serenbe is a 900 acre community located in Chattahoochee Hill Country, just 45 minutes south of the Cultural Arts Center in Douglasville. Serenbe is a pedestrian friendly planned community of unique architecture, custom family homes and townhomes, walking paths, rustic farms, quaint cottages, and unique shops. There will be a tour of the Serenbe Photography Center at 10:30a.m. If you would like to car pool, we will be meeting behind the Cultural Arts Center at 9:30a.m.

The Etowah Indian Mounds are near Cartersville, Georgia. While we are there we might also drive around Lake Allatoona. Our next month’s contest is “Landscapes” so this will fit in nicely. You may investigate what the web has to say about the Indian Mounds by clicking here or using Google to search on “Etowah Indian Mounds.” There is a state park nearby called Red Top Mountain State Park with hiking trails, and many places along Lake Allatoona to enjoy. |
