The Sweetwater Camera Club will hold its second field trip of the year at the Southeastern Flower Show during late afternoon Friday, January 30th from 4 till 8 P.M. at 2 Cobb Galleria Centre in northwest Atlanta across from Cumberland Mall. Those who can't make the trip on Friday may visit the show any time from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday, January 31st and still qualify to enter the Field Trip contest. However, the field trip isn't all about the contest. It is about getting out and working on your photography and image-making skills.
 
To save money, please purchase your tickets in advance. Click here to purchase your tickets online. Friday's festivities will include  "Jazz in the Gardens - Date Night." According to their website, "Melodic Jazz will float through the air while floral aromas soothe you. The cost for tickets bought in advance is $10.00 for Friday late (a Twilight Ticket) or $12 for Saturday. You must buy your tickets before January 27th to qualify for discounts.

 

According to SCC member Frank Karycinski, if you purchase your tickets online, put in the following code: AHS. This will get you an additional discount of $2. Frank also says, "Make sure you print the tickets when the order is processed. Clicking on the red lettering to print tickets and invoice did not print the tickets, only the invoice. Scroll down and click 'Click Here To Print' under the first ticket which printed both tickets and the invoice again."
