The fourth Sweetwater Camera Club shootout contest held on Sunday, September 18th resulted in the following awards:

Category1: Glowing:
1st Place – Stella Spyrou - truck
2nd Place – Sandra Belk – Glowing lamps (color)
3rd Place – Nicolette – Glowing (b&w)

Category2: Car Parts:
1st Place – Stella Spyrou - Bus
2nd Place – Norma Nichols - tire

Category3: Self Portrait in Cartersville:

2nd Place – Retz Joseph – self portrait

Category4: Liquid:

March 29th Field Trip to Macon Cherry Blossom Festival

The Sweetwater Camera Club Field Trip Committee is proud to announce our 2nd photo field trip for the year, to the Macon Cherry Blossom Festival on Saturday, March 29th, 2008. There will be many great subjects to photograph.
The line-up for March 29th includes the "Cherry Blossom Balloon Fest & Airshow, Kids CherryDazzle, a Pet Fashion Show, Motorcycles Display, Candy Making, Dixie Disk Dog Championships, Tigers of India, Cherry Blossom Bed Race, Lawnmower Grand Prix, a Pops Concert, Bands, Tours and Dances. Please log in and sign up in the forum area of this site. You must be amember of the Sweetwater Camera Club to participate in the field trip and photo contest, but you maybring a guest so long as you provide suitable transportation for them. More details will be added as the festival date approaches.
