April 10th - Marietta Town Square, The day starts at 10:30 with a guided tour of Brumby Hall. The rooms are decorated with period antiques and paintings. The house is surrounded by towering oak and magnolia trees and the grounds include topiary gardens. Afterwards onto turn-of-the-century Marietta Square for some outdoor photography. You can pick up a walking/driving tour brochure at the Welcome Center located at the vintage 1898 train depot. You can also visit the Marietta Confederate Cemetery or the Marietta National Cemetery, both just a short drive from the center of town. April 24th - A Visit to Berry College, Spend the day strolling the grounds of the world’s largest campus. Located in Rome, the grounds feature beautiful architecture, historic buildings, and spacious common areas. A full service cafeteria is centrally located on campus for lunch or you can bring a picnic to enjoy. For more info, click on the Field Trips tab at the top of the page. |
